Amy + Chris : Wedding

Amy and Chris had a gorgeous wedding at the Dallas Arboretum. Their ceremony was held in a sunken garden and the reception was overlooking White Rock Lake. It was a beautiful day full of love and laughter. Needless to say, I am very excited to blog these photographs!

Amy and Chris – Thank you for letting me capture this special day for you!

Venue: The Dallas Arboretum

Marissa : Bridal

A few weeks ago I gave everyone a sneak peak of Marissa’s bridal session and today I give you the rest! Marissa is one of the sweetest brides to work with. Always smiling, she made the day so fun and enjoyable! Thanks Marissa for spending the day with me and thanks Shawn for awesome hair and make-up as always.

Lux Awards : Photography

To all of my photographer friends out there, just wanted to share this cool new photography competition called the Lux Awards. The Lux Awards were developed by my friends at Eclipse Photography Institute and are working together with Arlington Camera (my favorite camera store!) with awards and prizes. One of the first place prizes is an all expenses paid TWELVE day workshop and trip to Alaska! How amazing is that?? The contest opens July 1st, 2010 and entry deadlines are September 30th, 2010. Lux Awards is open to everyone and entry categories include:

The Natural World (wildlife and nature)
Bodies in Motion (sports)
The Urban Landscape (travel)
Universal Faces (portraits)

Happy Photographing!
