First of all, thank you for your patience these past few months. I needed to take time for some personal projects and blogging had to take a back seat. Winter has now turned to spring and I have a handful of things I’d like to share with you.
Jon and I have just returned from an incredible week in San Francisco celebrating our honeymoon. The experience of a wedding and marriage itself is so incredible. It was a day filled with family, friends, support, laughter, and love. Our wedding day was truly the best day of our lives. It has also given me a new outlook on photographing weddings and I have to say that I love my job so much more now. Stepping inside the shoes of my brides was a priceless experience and I learned so much from the entire adventure.
As many of you know, we opened a studio at The Bell Jar in October. We have grown so much that I will be working at Apryl Ann Photography full time from now on! It is so exciting and refreshing to know that I will be living and breathing my passion. We have also been working with an amazing designer, Aileen Cheng, on a new brand. She is the person responsible for my new logo you see and I can’t wait to share the rest!
